Hot Spring Water Washed Processing
Costa Rica is really ahead of the game when it comes to processing coffee. They came up with this awesome way of washing coffee that’s totally unique. Instead of regular water, they use hot spring water full of minerals to ferment the coffee beans after they’ve been pulped.
At the San Diego wet mill, the hot spring water works its magic during fermentation. It speeds up the breakdown of the sticky stuff called mucilage, which makes the taste of the coffee even better. The beans also soak up those natural minerals from the spring water, making the coffee more complex and flavorful. When you take a sip, you’ll definitely notice the fruity flavors that are characteristic of the Tarrazú region, along with some amazing spicy notes.

I received my coffee yesterday afternoon and couldn’t wait until this morning to try it out. I ordered medium roast and it came perfectly roasted, the shipping was fast and affordable and arrived intact in only 2 days. The taste is amazing probably the smoothest cup of coffee I have ever had with a full-bodied flavor! I can’t wait to try the Guatemala beans
